The Domestic Diploma Course

Duration: 6 - 8 months

Requirements: No formal qualifications are required.

Cost: £4500 plus VAT

Awarding Body: Cert-ain Certification Ltd

Work placement required: You need to complete a portfolio of work alongside a gas registered engineer. Please note that you will be responsible for finding and managing your placement.

About the Course:

The Diploma Course is designed for people who have never worked within the gas industry to train and become a gas engineer. The course combines a mixture of theory and practical learning, all based at the IGNITE training centre, North Shields. Over the duration of the course you will cover a range of modules and topics relating to the gas sector and develop your understanding of domestic appliances and pipework installation.
